THE STORY….Gender inclusive fashion. It began with the Saints vs. Sinners Tee Collection which springs from a series of 14 collages inspired by my long-held, nonbinary systems of belief as they relate to gender, sexuality, ethnicity and social class. Friends asked for Tees. Turns out, pieced and layered collage works make great silk screened tee prints! The work is not complete until the viewer wears the tee and adds themselves to the discussion.

Kaftan Collection. Starting with my Dear Diary series comes a quickly changing and evolving line of dresses/tunics/kaftans….and now PANTS! The conversation continues, my art work on apparel via dye sublimation and all MADE IN AMERICA! How has clothing added to our beliefs around gender? Though fashion, this work explores a narrative of how, why and the effects of clothing and its relation to gender as it has changed through time. How the construct of feminine/masculine ideals have dictated shapes, fabrics, styles, structures, behaviors and how these elements have played a role in restricting movement, thoughts, abilities and aspirations.
